1993 - 2018
CHANSLOR WILDLIFE operated Chanslor Guest Ranch in Bodega Bay, from 1993 until 2015. Income from visitor serving programs on that property including horseback riding, overnight room rentals, camping, wildlife tours, membership and events for up to 8,000 attendees, provided support for environmental education and conservation programs on the ranch and on neighboring properties.
SONOMA COAST VILLAGE is an expansion of Member Serving Programs for 2017 to include not only Bodega Bay but Healdsburg and Petaluma, CA. Member programs will also include Wellness, Farm & Sea To Table, an Associate Ranchers Program as well as additional recreational opportunities and member events.

WILDLIFE INTERPRETIVE HIKES
Jim Sullivan, well known Sonoma County naturalist - conducts wildlife observation and tracking hikes on Chanslor Ranch and throughout Sonoma County. Animal tracking, plant and wildlife observation are popular tours.

COHO SALMON/STEELHEAD PROGRAM Habitat Restoration with Goldridge Conservation; Re-introduction of coho salmon with California Department of Fish & Game, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration NOAA 2009-2016.
The Salmon Creek Watershed Study completed in 2006, provides the natural and human history of the immediate area as well as a detailed analysis of the ecosystem. A management plan was published from this study in 2010 by the Goldridge Conservation Service
AUDUBON BIRD SIGHTINGS
An inventory is maintained of bird species on the property compiled from annual counts by Madrone Audubon and quarterly obser-vations by Andrew Zlot and Phil Henderson. Birding in the Chanslor wetlands is excellent and Bodega Bay has many key birding sites
SENSITIVE SPECIES AT CHANSLOR
For 20 years we have maintained an inventory of sensitive species present and observed on the property as well as their State and Federal status. Badger, burrowing owls and the tidewater goby are some of the wildlife present.
